Trooper Island Golf Scramble

The 40th Anniversary Trooper Island Celebrity Golf Scramble is quickly approaching. Our 2005 tournament is scheduled for Monday, June 13, 2005 at Twin Oaks Golf and Plantation Club in Covington, KY with a shotgun start at 10:00a.m.

Our Master of Ceremonies is Kentucky Wildcat Coach Tubby Smith. Coach Smith will bring lots of former players and friends as his Sports Celebrity Guests. Last year you might remember the guests included Max Montoya former Cincinnati Bengal & Oakland Raider, former Wildcats Adrian “Odie” Smith, Sam Bowie, Reggie Hanson, Jimmy Dan Conners, Jerry Hale, Mike Pratt, Richie Farmer, Ralph Hacker and Jamie Mosley NASCAR Busch series driver just to name a few. The list of Sports Celebrities continues to grow each year and this year will be our largest group ever.

The format this year is a 4-person best ball team scramble. We will draw the sports celebrities to join teams as a fifth player for the team.

This year cost follows the rule of 4’s = 4 players in the 40th for $400.00.

Team fees include greens fee, cart, breakfast, lunch on course, refreshments, banquet dinner and lots of prizes.

Tommy Armor golf equipment for 1st place through 5th place will be awarded.
