The aim of the Horus/Maat Lodge is to manifest Double Wanded God-dess. The energies available are the Double Current Shaitan-Aiwass and Maat.

The 93 Current manifests as; The twins Ra-Hoor-Khuit and Hoor-paar-Kraat united, the child or centre of the Aeon named Heru-ra-ha.

The Maat Current manifests as; The next age or possibly the last named Aeon. The Daughter to follow the Son. The Balancing of Stars in the future in the name of Truth. The lodge is freedom, nothing more. Those who work and are comfortable with the 93 Current can seek the future Aeon if it be their will ! We have envisioned the future and wish to communicate with others who are serious.

There is a division or two mandalas in the Horus/Maat Lodge, and these should be remembered. But our purpose is Harmony. 2 = 0

This Space-Marks banishing is used by Horus/Maatian Magickians. Soror Andahadna developed the Kaat/Banishment to ''permit clarity of transmission''. Later, Frater Aossic suggested the above space-marks arrangement for that Banishment. Soror Andahadna, Priestess of Maat, traces a vertical ''X'' with the sword-point at each of the compass-points in Her rite.

Start in the South to banish working counterclockwise.

What is between the four cardinal points of the compass, inbetween each couple, could very well be a source for 'reactivating ancient atavisms’ !

At first looking at this eightfold cross I noticed the four 'inbetweenness concepts', wondering if this term of Austin 0. Spare applied? 1 found in Cults of the Shadow by K. Grant that he made a connection between the eightfold cross & the inbetweenness concepts of A.O.S. I further noticed that only North and South regions are named 'inbetween' on the compass.

6. Oracles; by random bibliomancy cut to single verses in liber AL vet Legis & liber Pennae Praenumbra, then draw one out Of the twenty-two trumps of the major arcana of tarot: record the results. closing; say,

The H.^..M.^..L.^.. has no degrees. Levels, leaders or followers, anyone can initiate anyone else at any time. If you work the double current, you are already in; the ritual merely formalizes the event, feel tree to add to or modify this rite as you will. It is an awakening, and no two people wake up alike, the rite and its dance & chanting are meant to be totally spontaneous and improvised; they must come from the heart.

If possible a feast should follow the rite.

Dancing the Double Current

1. Sign of Silence
2. Spiral dance clockwise slowly towards the centre saying IPSOS. This is done in the Sign of Silence with one complete breath. The word said once, is vibrated in your being until silence. The word IPSOS is inhaled with a deep slow dissolving breath.
3. Stopping in the centre of the spiral as the word ceases. Say: Nu! the hiding of Hadit.

 

4. Sign of the Enterer.
5. Spiral dance from the centre counterclockwise, returning to the circumference. Vibrate the word ABRAHADABRA in a loud strong projection of the breath while spiraling. In this motion extend, in breath, arms, & legs, as this sign dictates.
6. Stop at the place of origin, say: Had! the manifestation of Nuit.

In essence the sign, the motion, and the vibration of the word, are one complete movement to be finished by the verse. The two motions united cause the Double Current. As the circle, this dance can also be used to start & finish a ritual. It is an atmosphere to create in and the leap to manifestation.

It takes a little temple space, you, a feather, and a candle. Have a level surface that's head-high when you're in a comfortable asana (I have a low-built altar that does it for me), upon which place the lighted candle about two feet away from you, more or less. Give enough time for the mind to mellow out with the words, concepts and memories etc. When Inner quiet obtains, hold the feather between your mouth and the candle. and repeat the word IPSOS as an audible mantram. The breath should touch the feather, but not the flame, when they're aligned. The Word, as it's repeated, All gradually fade to silence, and will continue on the Inner, again fading to levels increasingly more deep. The feather, the flame, the word and the breath are all symbol/manifestations of Maat---; at the moment of Silence within the breath and the word. Maat will touch you... the description of Her manifestation need not be spoken here.

Ka Worship Rite. (to close)

went to house to eat; when we got outside, the storm had cleared completely & all the stars shone for the first time since we had been there. Went inside & found a picture drawn by Lee (Andahadna's daughter) of Horus-Maat Shortly after that two people from the Cincinnati Journal arrived, drawn to the farm by the energies manifesting. They did the midnight adoration with all of us, ending the night.

The Horus/Maat Lodge was manifested on April 26, 1979 e.v. Involved in this magickal working was 'the Inner Council'; Andahadna, Priestess of Meat, who transmitted Liber Pennae Praenumbra (published in the Cincinnati Journal of Ceremonial Magick, vol 1, no. 1), and the Grove of the Star & the Snake. On this occasion, Andahadna channelled Names or Masks for the members of the Grove, functioning as the inner council; HaDeS: Loki Fenris; Aio-n: Zossian; Khreb ent Ptah; Nodens; Noctua; Selene. At this point, to clear up any confusion, we would like to note that Nodens of the Horus/Maat Lodge is not Kenneth Grant (Aossic Aiwass) of the O.T.O. who took that name (Nodens) as Head of the Nu Isis Lodge (1955-1962). The following is a brief description compiled from our diaries of this working, the Manifestation of the Horus/Maat Lodge:

Sunrise adoration, Liber Resh Vel Helios. Breakfast, & noon-sun adoration. Sacrament, eye in triangle. Spacemarks banishing,& Star Ruby done. Painting of Horus/Maat symbol - a red descending triangle with a black feather within. Set up altar in a tree, divination by tarot. Rained-out into Shadow-Temple. Andahadna scribed sigils for the Grove & one for herself. All consecrated symbol by element, signed & sealed it. Loki Fenris (HaDeS) channelled a tree of masks for the working. The Grove took the Horus/Maat symbol outside, while Andahadna worked her drum-magicks in the Shadow-Temple. In the blackened rain-filled field standing in the four directions, not feeling the earth, but instead at some great height amongst stars. Dance of the Double Current, & the sigil is consumed by fire at the center. Then the Manifestation of Nu, which is Had. The sky is heavy gray above, the rain is needle-fine. We return inside to the Shadow-Temple, assumed the points of chairs/thrones around the altar. Reading of the Holy Books: Liber AL vel Legis, & Liber Pennae Praenumbra. Every word is alive & a universe complete. The air is extremely clear & freezing, with an alien smell, intensely pure. At the end of the reading (and Andahadna danced Liber P.P.) we do the Ka Worship rite, & then go outside. The sky was completely & totally clear, & we were struck by the beauty of the heavens. The stars shone clear, brilliant, infinite - a vision of the Comity of the Stars. The vision lasted for a period of several minutes, and then covered itself with heavy clouds again. Inside, in the house, Andahadna's daughter had drawn a Horus/maat gynander with flame & feather in hands. She told us she 'felt compelled to draw it.'' We later found out that the day of this manifestation- rite was the new moon. HaDeS, Khreb ent Ptah, & Aio-n had all checked almanacs to make sure it was not the new moon, & were all quite sure it was no where near. The week after doing the rite we were all surprised to indeed discover that April 26^th was the black of the moon , & the lodge had manifested practically on very hour !
