Hathor, Egyptian protectoress of hearth and home, her totem, the cow. Here, she has been formed from its bone. The goddessess of Egypt were proud goddesses, strong like their totems, enduring, like their race. And so their power endures unto the end. We are all her children, and with unending vigilance does she care for us.
