The Magickal Record of Mishlen: Autumn 1996

MY FRIENDS, MOST OF YOU ARE ALREADY FAMILIAR WITH THESE BEGINNINGS, BUT HERE I WILL RECOUNT:

After the time spent with H.H. the Dali Lama, I began having flashes, or breaks, in consciousness in which my viewpoint would become unfocused from the present, and the larger sense of eternity was perceived. Eternity not in the sense of timelessness, bu t rather the experience of the totality of time which goes on forever. This experience would free me temporarily from all time-based phenomenas such as fear and desire, both of which seemed to be the root causes of all my other emotions. This freedom resulted in a fearlessness, for seen inside the view of eternity, everyth ing seemed of such short duration as to become trivial.

These though , slowly began to fade away, and finally they vanished altogether. However, it began a new knowledge quest. Where and how? I wondered. And for that matter, what?

I began setting up the current for the making of my Stupa. I ran into problems immediately. I needed a LARGE drill. And welding equipment. And a bandsaw. And I didn't know how to use any of them. So I asked the universe for the means and then set it as ide and worked on other, more attainable goals.

Such as my altar. I left most of my power objects in B-town, loathe to move such a beautiful working astral machine. So I had to create a new one. I asked for a proper icon to grace it's center I was unerringly drawn to Kruz (a mid and far-eastern store in the Quarter), and was in time for his birthday sale, 55% off everything, including a large qilt Buddah. The gilt was all-important-and my reason for buying it. As far as I can tell, gold is the best metal for transmitting current. I've heard it referred to as the nervous system of the earth. I installed Skakyamuni on the altar with my largest crystal inside (also commonly used in the construction of a Stupa). While beginning to perform its consecration, I was informed that this icon would be able to do as much as any Stupa I would be able to construct. Good. The Stupa represents the body of the Buddah, it is said in many sources, as well as in my personal experience. Well, so did the icon.

Since then, I've had several long talks with this icon. I found that touching him, with compassion, activated a reversal of consciousness. I see through his eyes has he sees through mine. Here I'm finding a wisdom.

But I still got nowhere with my time experiment, I have not yet been shown how to contact the Star People, and it is they, I believe, who wield the time/space vajra. Here I must regress. The Dali Lama had been in preparation for a Kalichakra initiation when I was in his presence. I believe this was the motivation factor behind my time flashes, for he was already sending waves out from himself.

Onward:

I had been working on an icon of Pan. Pan did not appear. In fact, it has been some time since I have been able to choose my subjects. What appeared is Milarepa. Looking him up, I found that he was considered the Buddha of sorcerers, and that he sang, rather than spoke, his teachings. He ensouled the piece the moment the clay work was done, not waiting for the massive amount of work ahead. He spoke: The power of eternity is known in the Kalachakra initiation . Do this. This is all, up until now. I have left out the various wisdoms I've learned from these rituals. If someone is interested, I will put some down. Until then...eternity.
