Went to the cemetary and left muffins and scones and halloween candy. We got some more goofer dust from my great great grandmother Jane Steele's grave. Mom brought a shovel, she is the only person I know who has no qualms about bringing a shovel to the cemetary. Jane Steele said that we should keep working on Oshun. She said she would help us to make more money if I promise to use it to bring the kids to Scotland. She said she is worried about the grave of her daughter, possibly Mary, who died when she was an infant in Scotland. My mother said that she had twins that died maybe one was Mary. Thinking about the connections between these twins and the marassa. Is Nia the spirit double for this Mary? Does this principle work with the young dead? Who do they return as? I must someday travel to find out. I have always felt the presence of a Mary around Nia, I had thought it was from a different Mary. The other ancestor we visited was Alice, she was very cryptic in her message. She is worried about her namesake. I feel another babatunde waiting to come through my sister, Alice.

November 11

Getting ready for meeting with Morganna on Friday. I like the idea of meeting up with another Voodoo/Celtic practitioner . The mix always reminds me of Shaman playing Hey Pokey Way on the bodhran. Thinking today of the Brazilian Exu syncratized with the devil. The notion of our dark side as an opening , I think Starheart would appreciate that. I also like the image of Exu's wife as the sexually promiscuous woman who wanders around fondling her nipples, it brings back the episode of Red Dwarf where the robot said his left nipple was to tune in short wave radio. Went to Worcester yesterday to meet with A and M. A said he learned what they used to call Houdon while he was growing up. He gave me some alligator teeth. I was talking to M about the mixing of African American and Native peoples and she said that it was because the chiefs were afraid that because of all the anglo-native mixing the children were coming out too white, so the chiefs decreed that the women were not allowed to marry anyone with lighter skin.

Had an interesting discussion with Morganna on Friday. I was speaking about how I seem to have an easier time performing fertility magick and related love workings, as opposed to other intents.
