The Blacklight Braille sound has, to a good degree, been shaped by Daniel T. Murphy and Bill Gwynne, engineers at the popular
Group Effort Sound Studio, who have engineered and, at times, played on our recordings to give a polish to our finished sound.
The Composition of the Blacklight Braille music is mostly the work of Doug Smith. Doug is the organist and director of music at the St. Peter in Chains Cathedral.
A master of many keyboards, he has composed the music for Cloud Deflected Air and the opera Judith. As a performer, Doug has played many concerts both here and
overseas. If we ever wrote a movie, I'm sure we'd want Doug to compose the music for it.
Thomas H. Owen Knight is the catalyst that brought Blacklight Braille together; a musician, a poet, a writer: "Cincinnati's Founding Father of Alternative Rock (New Age/Fringe Rock, like you
have never heard it).
