| In the mid 1800's, Oxford had three women's colleges. Originally named the Oxford Female Institute, it later became the Oxford Female College. In 1929, it merged with Miami University and the building was designated the Caroline Scott Harrison Memorial. It has been used as a dormitory for female freshmen. | |||||||||||
