TSA involves problem-solving activities in which the members have to design and then build their designs. Each design must meet national criteria and follow design standards. Some of the activities the members take part in are: dragster designs, architecture models, robotics, flight, computer designing and drafting, engineering design, radio control transportation, web design, and desktop publishing just to name a few. The group meets every Monday right after school 2:45-4:00 They also do public service projects with First Lego League at the local level, and with the American Cancer Society at the national level.
